News and events

Monday 13 November & Thursday 16 November 2017

Drop-in at the Parish Hall, 10.00am-12noon

Treasurer

The Churches of St John the Baptist Church and Woodmancote Church want to allow the Treasurer to step aside from his present role and accordingly to appoint a new person in his place. The essential heart of the role is that of weekly book-keeping; the treasurer also plays the leading role in compiling the annual accounts (for which computerised systems and the help of others experienced in this field are of invaluable assistance); lastly, there is the role of reporting periodically to the PCC or other Church committees. If you might be willing to serve in this way, and would like to know more, please speak without commitment to Revd Andrew Doye or Jonathan Kipling.

Poppy Appeal, The British Legion

There will be a collection at the services on 12/11/17, Remembrance Sunday, to support the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. If you pay tax, your donation can be increased if you place it in a blue envelope, marked POPPY APPEAL, and adding your name and address. Cheques payable to ‘Westbourne PCC’.

Wednesday Evening in November 2017 – the Parish Hall, Churchill Room, 7.45pm
