News and events

Woodmancote Church

The 125th Anniversary Service of Woodmancote Church is at 3.00pm, followed by a tea party.  

We are raising funds at present for refurbishment. More details on separate leaflet in the churches or visit the anniversary appeal page.

A quiz evening for the appeal will be hosted by the Woodmancote Pub on Tuesday 10 October 2017 at 7.15pm. Teams of up to 4 people. Cost £5, including a meal.  Please book in advance with the pub, call 01243 371019.  Contributions to the raffle will be welcome (see Paula or Rona).

A Wine & Cheese evening will be held on Friday 27 October, in Woodmancote Church.

Harvest Appeal  

The Bishop of Horsham’s Harvest Appeal for the Chichester Diocese focusses again on “Rebuilding Lives” and “Encouraging Hope” in our linked dioceses of Kenya, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Liberia and Cameroon.  To make a donation please use a blue envelope and mark it ‘Harvest Appeal’ - if you are a UK tax payer please also complete your details on the envelope.  Cheques payable to ‘Westbourne PCC’.  

Stonepillow Harvest Collection

Non-perishables foodstuffs and toiletries will be welcome to be dropped off at St John the Baptist Church on Sunday 8 October 2017 for homeless charity ‘Stonepillow’ in Chichester.

Rona Musker will talk on her 'Life with Auntie' and there will be fizz and a cream tea. 3pm at Parish Hall, Westbourne. Tickets £10.

There will be a series of guest talks on Wednesday evenings in November 2017 at 7.45pm in the Parish Hall, Westbourne.

Parish Quiet Day

Westbourne Parish Quiet Day to be led by the Revd Andrew Doye on Thursday 30 November 2017 at Birdham. Likely timings are 10am-4pm. More details soon.
