Sunday 1 October 2017, Breakfast - To allow time for socialising, breakfast will be provided in the Parish Hall after the 8.00am service.  

Learn more about Scams and Fraud - A member of the Chichester District Neighbourhood Policing Team will give a presentation in relation to scams and fraud on Friday 29 September 2017 at 7.30pm in the Parish Hall.
The talk will include information about a number of the most prevalent scams: courier fraud, computer fraud and investment fraud, information about rouge traders and dealing unwanted callers. A short DVD (approx 15 minutes) shows real life examples of victims of fraud, followed by time for questions. Scam books and door stickers to deter cold callers will be made available. Everyone welcome.

Woodmancote Church Appeal

Woodmancote Church  The 125th Anniversary Service of Woodmancote Church will be at 3.00pm on Sunday 1 October 2017, followed by a tea party. We are raising funds at present for refurbishment. For more details pick up a leaflet in the churches or visit our Appeal web page.   

A quiz evening for the appeal will be hosted by the Woodmancote Pub on Tuesday 10 October 2017. Contact the venue to register your team of four. 

Harvest

Harvest Appeal  - The Bishop of Horsham’s Harvest Appeal for the Chichester Diocese focusses again on 'Rebuilding Lives' and 'Encouraging Hope' in our linked Dioceses of Kenya, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Liberia and Cameroon. To make a donation please use a blue envelope and mark it ‘Harvest Appeal’ - if you are a UK tax payer please also complete your details on the envelope. Cheques payable to ‘Westbourne PCC’.  
Non-perishables foodstuffs and toiletries will be welcome on Sunday 8 October 2017 for ‘Stonepillow’ in Chichester.

Harvest Lunch will be available in the Parish Hall at 11.45am. Tickets £5 available from Evelyn or Angie L.  

November guest talks

Thy Kingdom Come – there will be a series of guest talks on Wednesday evenings in November 2017 at 7.30pm in the Parish Hall.

Christmas events for your diary

Christmas Fair - Saturday 2 December  2017 - Please remember the Fair and start saving unwanted gifts, chocolate, home-made preserves or chutney. If you can help by running a stall please speak to Jane S or Amy T. Thank you.

Christmas Lunch - Sunday 17 December 2017, 12.30pm - A lovely, relaxing afternoon is planned with a delicious three-course meal. Save the date in your diary. Tickets will be available from the end of October 2017.
