Morning Prayer
This takes place in St John the Baptist Church on all days from Monday to Friday at 8.30am. We are always pleased to see new people, whether on the odd occasion or as regular members of these congregations. The service takes place in the side chapel on the north side of the church, and our usual numbers are between 6 and 10, sometimes more.

Westbourne Deanery Annual Evensong
Sunday 17 September at 5.30pm at St Peter’s Church, East Marden.

Concert
St John the Baptist Church will host a concert on Sunday evening, 15 October 2017, by Ella Rundle, former Westbourne resident, as part of WemsFest 2017.

Quiet Day
Advance notice, that Andrew Doye has arranged a parish quiet day, which he will lead, on Thursday, 30 November, at Birdham. Likely timings are 10am-4pm.

Woodmancote Church
As you may have seen in the Westbourne Magazine, the PCC hopes to refurbish Woodmancote Church and we need to raise funds.  For more details see separate leaflet.

50/50 Club
The winning numbers for the August draw were 1st prize No. 22, 2nd prize No. 25 and 3rd prize No. 53. If you would like to be involved in the 50/50 Club please see Angie L or Carol W.

Clean jam jars
Needed for jam making in preparation for the Christmas Fair. Please leave at the back of the church. Marjorie

Bishop Luffa School
Parents of prospective students may like to have a look at the letter from the school, displayed at the back of St John the Baptist Church, which explains the process of applications and admissions.

Hall items
Four Tables which were missing from the Hall have, we are pleased to say, been returned. If you are borrowing anything from the Hall (or Church) it is important to notify the Hall Manager (or the Rector or Wardens) of your request.

Junior Choir
We are starting a junior choir this term. It will be meeting every Thursday from 6pm to 6.45pm and will join the main church choir in November 2017.
