This morning’s 09.30 service includes and invites prayers for wholeness and healing. If matters come to the surface for which you’d welcome further private conversation or prayer at a later time, or with future concerns, please feel welcome to speak to the rector or another member of the Prayer Team. 

Parish Hall:  there is some decorating and cleaning (mostly paintwork) to be done to the hall over the holiday period (the nursery school finishes on the 24 July 2018). If you have any time to spare and can help please let me know. Andrew Turner

Lost Property  please look for those lost glasses etc. in the lost property by the north door.

The Christian Aid Coffee Morning  raised a little over ₤400. Thanks to everyone who supported the event.

12 August: advance warning! This is the day of the Westbourne Allotment Show. The hall will be in use for the show all day so car parking will be in the field behind please and coffee after the 9.30am service will be in the Church.  Please see a copy of the show brochure and, if you can, enter one or more of the classes. It’s good fun and you might win!

50/50 Draw - The winning numbers for June were 2, 57 and 24 and for July 35, 46 and 14.

Baptism sidespersons wanted: if you’d like to join a small list of those willing to assist at occasional services at 1130, please have a word with the Rector.  Duties unlikely to arise more than a couple of times a year.

Christian Books.  Unwanted (Christian only) books in any condition are urgently needed in other countries.  Please leave in the box at the back of the church. Thank you.

In the Parish Hall, following a 10.30am Parish Communion service.  
Please sign up in the welcome area of St John the Baptist so that we know how many to cater for and if you are able, please indicate what food you can bring to share.
