Amen

Alton Abbey Open Day Sunday 10 June 2018 - 12 - 5pm.  Entrance £3 – Teas £3.  There will be several stalls selling items such as: Beautiful Stationery, Secondhand Books, plants, and Hadeel Products from Palestine.  There will be Lacemaking, and a display of work.  If you have never discovered the beauty and peacefulness of the Abbey come this time;  if you have been before, come back to rediscover the joy.  More information about lift sharing from Jane S

Saturday 21 July 2018 - Church Summer Fete 1.00pm-4.00pm. Have you seen the leaflet about the Church Summer Fete which lists ways you can help and goods you can start collecting to fill the stalls?  Please take and study a copy, or speak to Paula if you have any questions.

Saturday 4 August 2018 -  Parish Quiet Day. Andrew Doye invites you to join him on a quiet day at Birdham, which he will lead.  Numbers are limited, but do sign up on the sheet in our churches.  Preference may be given to those who haven't been before if we should be over-subscribed.

The Leprosy Mission - The Home and Overseas Committee thanks everyone who supported the Coffee Morning or contributed to its success in any way.  We raised the sum of £378.  Special thanks to David N for sharing photos and anecdotes of his visit to Ascension Island in the 1980s where he saw the monuments to a leper colony.

Calling all gardeners  -  Please spare a thought for the Church fete on 21 July 2018 when you are sowing, dividing or potting on.  We would love your contributions to the Plant Stall, potted up and labelled, please.  Elisabeth B.
