The talks will begin at 7.45pm, and will be preceded by a short communion service at 7.00pm. Quiet Day at Chichester Cathedral, Dresden Room On Thursday 29 November 2018, Revd Andrew Doye is leading a quiet day for parishioners from 9.45am, to 3.30pm. Please sign the sheet at the back of the churches now to attend. It is not possible to eat packed lunches in the Dresden Room, so in the break retreatants will need to eat discretely in the cathedral or buy from the on-site café or other outlets. Payment for the Quiet Day, by donation on the day. Community Pancake Breakfast – Saturday 17 November 2018 in the Parish Hall from 9.00am to 11.00am. Another opportunity to support the young people from The Bourne volunteering in Ghana next February. Christmas Fair, 1 December 2018 - There is a box at the back for donations - please see pew sheet in church for more details Cake stall - time for us to start thinking of our Christmas baking and preparing for the Fair. We should be delighted to receive any cakes, biscuits or tantalizing seasonal eats. So we can display them attractively we are also keen to collect suitable boxes that we can decorate or Christmas tins. Please contact Robina Richter (contact details in church) if you have boxes, tins or baked cakes before the day. Cakes can be delivered to the hall on the day. Thank you. Confirmation - the deanery confirmation will take play in May 2019. Candidates will be prepared alongside those from other parishes and NOW is the time to let the Rector know if you or your child wish to be included. Youngsters would generally be in Year 8 or above, but exceptionally we can discuss those in Yr 7. Adults, may be of any age. The Parish Magazine - always welcomes contributors. There is a present vacancy for a reporter to join a small team to cover up to three meetings a year of the Parish Council. Speak to any editor or the Rector to learn more.
