News and Events

Mission planning - On 23 September 2018, at 9.30am we will be looking at our Mission Action Plan. We want everyone to be involved with this, please engage in looking at how we can grow and share our Christian faith and community with those in Westbourne Parish and further afield.
Macmillan Coffee Morning - Friday, 28 September 2018, 10am to 12.30pm. Details in pew sheet in church. Please come and bring your friends.
Churchyard Clean-Up  - Saturday, 29 September 2018 from 9.00am to noon. All help welcome please. Bring your own useful implements.
Supper Lectures – the first lecture is on Saturday 29 September 2018 when Michael Briggs talks on his adventures “Off road in Lesotho”.  Further details for lectures on Saturday 20 October 2018 and Friday 23 November 2018 on the leaflet in the Welcome Area at St John the Baptist Church. Tickets now available from Susie D.
Bishop Luffa School, applications for 2019 -  a letter from the new head teacher, Mr Austen Hindman, is presently on the notice board at the two churches. Bishop Luffa is a Church of England secondary school which welcomes applications from local families. The letter describes the application process this Autumn for places at the school.

Plastic Milk Bottle Tops - We currently only have an outlet for clean, plastic milk bottle tops for recycling. So please do not leave any other types of bottle tops in the church as they are not recyclable in West Sussex. Thank you.

Harvest Service at St John the Baptist Church, Sunday, 14 October 2018 at 10.30am followed by a parish lunch at 11.45am (free, but please add your name to the list in the welcome area at St John’ the Baptist Church, and add a “V” if you are vegetarian).

Remembrance Sunday - 11 November 2018 - The Remembrance Service will begin at the War Memorial at 10.50am
The Holy Communion Services at Woodmancote on 14 October and 11 November will be at 9.00am
