News and Events

Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard over the Advent and Christmas period to make our churches beautiful and our worship enriching; to provide food in good measure, printed materials, car lifts; and who have reached out to visitors and others with the love of Christ.

Crisis at Christmas advertise places at £28.87 for someone this Christmas and will introduce them to the education, training and support to help end their homelessness for good through Crisis’ year-round services. With thanks to the Home & Overseas Group’s initiative, £300 has been sent from the December Friday lunch.

Christingle Candles  If you have a Children’s Society ‘candle’ that you are filling with change, please return it in a collection plate by the end of December.

Revd Andrew and Karen Doye thank our many friends in the two churches who have sent kind greetings in the Christmas period and have encouraged us with warmth and vitality.

Follow The Star - Many hand-crafted stars have been created and have been hung in the church. Stars are still available in the welcome area at St John the Baptist Church if you wish to add a message. When displayed, the stars will be hung in the church until Epiphany 6 January 2020.

Coming soon for children:

TOTS’ TIME:   Monday mornings at 09.30am in the Church, weekly from 20 January 2020.

A new event allowing pre-school children and their parent/carer to join, in a safe and happy setting.  A fun act of worship for little ones: songs and percussion, stories and sharing; short and snappy with refreshments.

Next Deanery Prayer Gatherings – Saturday, 18 January 2020 at Woodmancote Church at 9.30am and Thursday, 6 February 2020 at Bosham Church at 12 noon.

Blue Gift Aid Envelopes - Please complete your name and address on a blue envelope if you are able to Gift Aid your donation to the church. Thank you.
