Morning Prayer takes place in St John the Baptist Church at 08.30 to 0900 every weekday morning.  Do come along, and give it a try, if you can.  It is led from the Church of England’s format for Daily Prayer, and contains bible readings, canticles, appropriate local, national and international prayers, and will often feature a reflection on one of the readings.  It is a welcoming, and unthreatening event, with up to a dozen (though more usually 5-8) people in attendance; and is part of the way in which (as a parish) we play our part in the ongoing work of prayer of the wider Church.  Every Tuesday, some of those present usually go on for breakfast or a drink at the Westbourne Café!   Join us there too!
