Message from the Churchwardens

We hope you have a blessed and joyful Easter.

Jane and Angie

For our prayers (please contact the Churchwardens to add names):

For those who feel especially isolated; and for the presence of mind to keep those we know in touch by various means.

For the combatting of covid-19 in poorer countries.

For those in special need at present.

For the families of those who have died recently.

We trust that the relaxation of the lockdown regulations on the 29 March 2021 will provide you with an opportunity to meet up with family and friends, and thus help to make Easter a little more special this year.

Notices

Community fundraiser. Congratulations, Jack Mannings. Jack took up the March Spinal Circuit 2021 Challenge for the Back Up Trust to run, push or walk as many miles as possible in March. Jack's target was to push himself for 5kms each day and aim to raise £2,026 – one pound for each day since the accident which left him in a wheelchair. Jack has exceeded his financial target, and each day, come rain or sun, he has been completing 5km circuits either at the Marina or in the Meridian Centre, Havant. Some of you who will remember Jack may wish to make a donation to mark this achievement – https://spinalcircuit.backuptrust.org.uk/jack-mannings for full details.

Easter. A ‘thank you’ to the team who have prepared our Church for Easter and for private prayer.

Chichester Cathedral. A reminder that the Cathedral is open for services, prayer, and reflection, in line with current Government guidance. The Cathedral is open Monday - Saturday (10.00am - 4.00pm) and Sunday (10.00am - 2.00pm).

Annual meeting. Our Church APCM will be held virtually at 11am on Sunday 25 April 2021. Nomination forms for Churchwardens and Deputies, and for PCC members are on the noticeboard inside the Church in Westbourne.

Prayer requests. If there are causes or people that you wish to bring to the attention of the Church and its praying community, please contact the Churchwardens. Church Directory page.
