Eternal God, who made this most holy night to shine with the brightness  of your one true light: bring us, who have known the revelation of that  light on earth, to see the radiance of your heavenly glory; through Jesus  Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of  the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Almighty God, you have given us your only begotten Son to take our nature upon him and as at this time to be born of a  pure virgin: grant that we, who have been born again and made your children by  adoption and grace, may daily be renewed by your Holy Spirit; through Jesus  Christ our Lord. Amen

Almighty God, who wonderfully  created us in your own image and yet more wonderfully restored us through  your Son Jesus Christ: grant that, as he came to share in our humanity, so we  may share the life of his divinity; who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of  the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. 

Sunday 2 January 2021 – For Epiphany

Eternal Lord, our beginning and our end: bring us  with the whole creation to your glory, hidden through past ages and  made known in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen 


Covid - December 2021

Following the increased infection with the Omicron  variant we announce these precautions in our churches. 

1. Masks to be worn please (unless exempt) at all services, including for congregational singing. 

2. Worshippers are encouraged to take a lateral flow test before coming to any  of our larger services: 0930s; Woodmancote 1115 and ‘Midnight’. 3. Please fully respect the need and comfort of others, allowing space. Those  wishing to ask specifically for this can use a notice sheet provided. 4. Please expect ventilated churches (and dress with this in mind!). 5. Choir to wear masks when not leading the singing. 

6. Post-service refreshments to be cancelled (initially for 26 December 2021 and 2 January 2022). 

7. We do NOT require pre-bookings for Services. 


This Coming Week

There will be no activities in the week 27 December 2021 to 1 January 2022. The Parish Church is open for private prayer between 10.00am & 3.00pm. 

The Rector will be off-duty after 26 December 2021 until Tuesday 4 January 2022 Thanks and Greetings from the Rector: Revd Andrew and Mrs Karen Doye send  warmest greetings to parishioners, and particular thanks to those who have kindly sent gifts or greetings to them this Christmas. 

Drop-in – following recent news of the huge increase in Covid cases, it has been  decided not to open the Drop-In sessions on Mondays at present. We hope to  open once again at some time in 2022. 

50/50 Club - It is hoped that we can run our 50/50 Club once again from January.  The annual stake is £20, with cash prizes of £25, £10 and £5 paid each month.  Please speak to one of us if you would like to join the Club, or for existing
