Collect for the Seventh Sunday of Easter
O God the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your
kingdom in heaven: we beseech you, leave us not comfortless, but send your Holy Spirit to strengthen
us and exalt us to the place where our Saviour Christ is gone before, who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.  Amen

News and Events

Thy Kingdom Come. This global prayer movement invites Christians around the world to pray from Ascension to Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus.  Since its start in May 2016 (as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England) God has grown Thy Kingdom Come from a dream of possibility into a movement. Christians from 172 countries have taken part in praying ‘Come Holy Spirit’, so that friends and family, neighbours and colleagues might come to faith in Jesus Christ.  Visit their website at Thykingdomcome.global or their page on the Church of England site.

The Church Summer Fete. This year is scheduled for Saturday 28 August 2021 - please put the date in your diary.  The Churchwardens are looking for a volunteer to head a team to organise the event, and to join the planning team or run a stall or activities.
