The Church is open for private prayer on Thursdays between 11am and 3pm, and Sundays between Noon and 3pm, until further notice. News and EventsDeanery Prayers 1st June at 12 Noon at Stoughton Church. Please wear masks and remember to pray loudly so everyone can hear while being suitably distanced! (You do not have to pray aloud) 2021 Christian Aid Week has been a great success. Thank you everyone. Thank you to all of you to everyone who has donated your time and money to support the week. I will let you know the total we made for our village as soon as I know but the money is still coming in. We had a Plant Sale raising the magnificent sum of £610. It proved very popular attracting many villagers and keen gardeners on the Rectory Lawn enjoying a social event. Robina. The Church Summer Fete this year is scheduled for Saturday 28 August 2021 - please put the date in your diary. If you can help with organization or running a stall or activity please contact the churchwardens. Ride & Stride: 11 September 2021 The 2021 Sussex Ride & Stride is taking place on the 11 September and our churches will be registered for participants to visit. The event is organised by Sussex Historic Churches Trust. Ride & Stride encourages walkers and cyclists to get sponsored to visit Churches/Chapels across the county and Hampshire too. Any money raised is split between Sussex historic churches, chapels and meeting houses and your local Church. Would you be interested in riding or walking to explore local churches on the day or welcome people to Westbourne during the day? Please contact the churchwardens. |
