the King of all; govern the hearts and minds of those in authority, and

sin, to be subject to his just and gentle rule; who is alive and reigns with
you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen

Join Abigail for a walking pilgrimage
On Saturday 27 November 2021. I am leading a variant part of the Old Way route which runs from Southampton to Chichester, and I would love volunteers to join
me from 10.30am at Stoughton Church. We will receive a Pilgrim Blessing from the Vicar of Stoughton before walking over Kingley Vale and down to West Stoke
for a further Pilgrim Blessing and onto Chichester Cathedral for Evening Prayer at 5.30pm when our silence will be broken. I seek honest feedback from
volunteers on what I could do better for the actual event on Tuesday 14 December 2021 which can be booked through the British Pilgrimage Trust website.

Fundaising, events and collections news

Christmas Fair
This seasonal event returns on Saturday 4 December 2021, from 10am to 12.30pm. Mark your diaries. Anyone wanting to run a stall, with past
experience or none, please contact karendoye@talktalk.net We are keen to offer a great event. Please see separate sheet for types of donations requested.

Last month’s goods at the back of the church were all delivered and gratefully received. Thank you so much to all who place items in the boxes. The next delivery will be in December. How about adding a few treats, such as special biscuits or tins of meat, as well as the socks and pants we regularly donate at this time. All will be welcome as always.

Christian Aid
It feels so good to share with you the amazing news that 2021 Christian Aid Week donations have peaked at more than five million pounds! What a surprise and delight, against all odds in these strange times. This is thanks to churches, volunteers and communities across the UK and
