The Bible Reading Fellowship (BRF). The BRF’s goal is to encourage Christians to grow in their life of faith, prayer and spiritual formation and in their understanding of the Bible, whatever their starting point. To this end they publish a series of booklets called ‘New Daylight’. These are well produced and highly readable, ideal for occasional and /or bedtime reading. Matthew Fyfe has taken over from Dennis Farr who has administered our BRF distribution for the past 12 years.  At present 29 members of our congregation receive these booklets which are published in December, April and September and the annual cost is £14.75.  If you are interested in joining the BRF please contact Matthew (details in electronic version of pew sheet or in paper copy in church. If you do not have access to these please contact Parish Administrator Marjorie Kipling.

Pilgrim journey on Saturday 27 November 2021. I am leading a pilgrim journey along part of the Old Way route which runs from Southampton to Chichester, and I would love volunteers to join me on 27 Nov from 10.30am at Stoughton Church.  We will receive a Pilgrim Blessing as we leave and then walk over Kingley Vale and down to West Stoke for a further Pilgrim Blessing and onto Chichester Cathedral for Evening Prayer at 5.30pm when our silence will be broken.  I seek honest feedback from volunteers on what I could do better for the actual event on Tuesday 14th December which can be booked through the British Pilgrimage Trust website. Abigail Rowe
