Christian Aid Week – 15-21 May Our preparations are well in hand for delivery-only envelopes to be circulated in the village, and our first opportunity to support this cause will be our Friday lunch on Friday 6 May 2022 at 12.30pm in the Parish Hall. Full details in the May issue of the Westbourne Magazine.
Ukraine - we continue to encourage prayer for the people of Ukraine, and to use the Parish Church as a quiet place of contemplation in which to do so. A pillar candle burns in the north chapel each day. Our Sunday collections for the people of Ukraine have ended, but we direct those who wish to make further contribution to do so through DEC. The churches’ outside fundraising for May will instead focus upon the important work of Christian Aid.
