This service will be live-streamed. You should be aware that the camera is at the left-hand side, in the side chapel. So if you wish to remain out of camera shot, please turn right after you have received communion, rather than left. Every endeavour will be made to maintain privacy for those taking communion. The Church is open for private prayer on Thursdays between 11am and 3pm, and Sundays between Noon and 3pm, until further notice. Face coverings must be worn, please follow the signage and the one-way system and maintain social distancing. NoticesNot the Church Fete Instead of the Fete this year on 28 August 2021, we plan to hold a Village Tea on the Rectory Lawn and in the Hall with tea and cake, Punch & Judy show, books and preserves. To make this inclusive of everyone in the village there will be no charge but donations to church funds. Further details to follow. If this would interest you, please speak to Jane or Angie or Marjorie Communion setting - As mentioned earlier this month, the choir has been learning an alternative to the Thorne communion setting that we sing every Sunday. Today the Junior Choir will sing the Sanctus, Benedictus and Agnus Dei from the new setting 'Trinity Mass' was written by Peter Dyke, Assistant Organist at Hereford Cathedral, for Stewart’s previous church at Holy Trinity Hereford. This new setting will alternate with the Thorne setting season by season. Calligraphy for our Memorial Book - Are you a calligrapher or do you know somebody who is? The churchwardens are looking for someone to update our Memorial Book. Spare fabric - Jane Stuttard has a quantity of fabric to rehome, please speak to her if you are interested, on (01243) 431810.
