This is a sponsored ride (bike or horse) or walk in which people visit churches. Anyone can take part. Any funds raised are shared between Sussex Historic Churches Trust and your own church. This new group will meet initially for 4 sessions on THURSDAY evenings from 7.30 - 9.30pm at The Rectory on 3rd, 10th, 24th and 31st October. The format is a short video by Rob Bell with guided discussion about Christian living based on the film. If you are interested in joining the group please call or email Karen Doye on 01243 372867.
With effect from 1 September, Stewart Taylor has taken on the role of parish treasurer in succession to Nigel Browning. Our great thanks Nigel for his work during the past couple of years, both on the weekly administration and also the longer-term planning.

The next event will be on Saturday, 26 October in the Parish Hall, featuring international author Kate Mosse. The evening will begin with a two-course supper at 7.00pm. Tickets at £12.50 can be obtained from Rona Musker or Susie D (contacts in pew sheet in church or via the Parish Hall Office) from 29 September 2019. Book early to be sure of your place. Proceeds to Westbourne Parish Church, which includes St John the Baptist and Woodmancote Churches.

The next Organ Recital will be by William McVicker on 21st September. It will be preceded by a talk at 5.30pm, followed by an interval with the recital beginning at 7.00pm. Tickets £7 on the door. Book the date!
